Sep 15th, 2010 (Wed) -- Sep 17th, 2010 (Fri)
       PDPA Educational Summit

When: September 15-17th 2010
Where: Golden, Colorado

Lectures
The PDPA Education Summit has lectures that will help establish you as an expert in your craft. These lectures are presented by industry experts, historians, and university professors. Nowhere else in the world will you find this information all in one place.   A very special lecture will be given this year by Ilia Fresco on Fresco painting with hopes to further his campaign "of seeing fresco being painted in every town".  Also at this years event we have a special guest lecture from NY.  Mark Golden himself with be giving a lecture on the third day that should be more then very interesting to say the least.  Other lectures include The History of the Guilds given by Dr. Kim Klimek, professor at Colorado State University. Dr. Kim presents the history of the guild structure for craftsman, their role, evolution, and training systems. Learn how painters maintained their working studios, acquired apprentices and scheduled work hundreds of years ago. Find answers to what worked, what didn't and where did all the guilds go.
